OREM, Utah — The Orem community is grieving the tragic loss of Maxwell Jordan Miller, just 14 years old, who passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025. His sudden passing has left family, friends, classmates, and neighbors heartbroken, as they remember a young life filled with promise, kindness, and love.
Maxwell was known for his bright spirit, gentle heart, and the way he uplifted those around him. Friends and teachers recall his kindness, sense of humor, and willingness to support anyone in need. In his short time, Maxwell made a deep impact on those who were fortunate enough to know him, leaving behind memories that will continue to inspire and comfort his loved ones.
Funeral arrangements have been announced for family, friends, and community members who wish to honor Maxwell’s life. A viewing will take place on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 6–8 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1405 North Main Street, Orem, Utah. A second viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., immediately followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at the Orem City Cemetery.
